The search engine giant Google has released a World Cup-themed update to its Search iOS app, adding handy Google Now cards for the FIFA World Cup 2014. With less than 24 hours left until the 2014 World Cup Brazil opening game between Croatia and Brazil, developers are busy updating their apps with soccer-based content.
The new cards for the Google Now in the app will feature the most recent updates on World Cup news including scorers, group standings, match statistics and many more. You have to sign in with your Google Account and turn on Google Now inside in-app settings, before you can use Google Now cards for the FIFA World Cup 2014 and follow your favorite teams.
In addition to that, Google on Wednesday incorporated a new link to its homepage which will allow you to tour the streets of Brazil right from the comfort of home. You can also walk through to Google Street View to see a 360-degree view of all 12 stadiums that will host a match.
The latest Google Search app for iOS is now available in the App Store.
