We all know how the spam bots have been capturing Yahoo Chat rooms since some time. Many regular chatters have already quit using Yahoo chat rooms as it is full of bots which keep posting links to pr0n websites. Yahoo has now tried to stopped this by asking users to type in the word and prove that the user is not a bot. Here is how it works…You login to your messenger and try to join a chat room by clicking on a room name and clicking on ‘Goto Room’…
Once you are in the room you see no one but my old friend the ‘Chat Admin’. 
. On the main screen you see the link to tell Yahoo that you are not a bot…
You come to a page where you need to enter the words and verify your account…
Once this is done, you are back in the same room with many more ‘VERIFIED’ chatters and no bots. 
..
I was a regular chatter in Yahoo Chat rooms when I was in college and it was fun then. This is a good move by Yahoo to get more people on chat rooms and get rid of spam bots. My personal experience says that the bots will come up with a bypass for his word verification pretty soon.

i have trouble getting started with chat room . i am unaple to enter a chat room , it says that i need to complete the verification for the chat room . i tray to fiend it in my email , but i think i deleted it oradey . i aslo trayed to fill out the top list above and it did no’t alow me . i ask you to please send me a verificatiom note that i can fallow and complete so i could be aple to enter chat room .. thank you ;; ak
You will get a link in the chat room which you need to visit. A page will open once you click the link which has the verification code.
i am a chatter too. but bots can still enter chatroom thru some yahoo tools programs. how was that

im having a problem with yahoo chat rooms. when i enter chat rooms, the verification code and box will appear then immediately disappear! i cnt join any rooms! what is the problem ? i already disable my firewall but still iit doesnt work.! help me plsss!!!
Yahoo is still plagued by Ad and porn bots. Yahoo still installs spyware and adware on your computer.
The only thing that has changed is there are MORE bots than ever.
Then you have people with booter programs crashing your messenger to kick you out of rooms. Yeah seriously FUCK Yahoo and its chatrooms. The only thing youre likely to see in there is bots having a conversation with each other.
Seriously Yahoo just needs to be done with and close down. Its a piece of shit anymore.
